April 2022:  Chaplain’s Corner

Text:  Matthew 6:6 AMP says,     But when you pray, go into your most private room, close the door and pray to your Father who is in secret and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you openly.

Matthew 7:7 AMP says,      Ask and keep on Asking and it will be given to you; Seek and keep on Seeking and you will find; Knock and keep on Knocking and the door will be opened to you.

Title:  “PRAYER is the Practice of the Presence of God”

Central Theme:  TO PRAY means many things to many people, but basically PRAYER is simply TALKING with GOD.

PRAYER is the Practice of the Presence of God, if you want to feel God, taste and experience God, then begin to have a conversation with Him.  PRAYER is the place where pride is abandoned, and HOPE is LIFTED, and Supplication is made.

PRAYER is the place of admitting our need for help, adopting humility and claiming dependence upon GOD.

Matthew 6:10 says,    “YOUR KINGDOM COME”, Jesus Christ gave His people a Model Prayer, which we have come to call “THE LORD’S PRAYER”.  It involves first Addressing “Our Father in Heaven”, (v.9) and asking God for HIS Kingdom to come (v10).

So the person Praying is asking for the Establishment of GOD’S RULE from Heaven in the Lives and in situations right now, here in the earth.

PRAYER IS THE PRACTICE OF THE PRESENCE OF GOD!  LET’S PRAY
